Oxygen-dependent carbon unit based in the United States. Makes art despite the questionable ROI.
Commissions are billed at $38.00/hour, which accounts for a 15.3% state and federal tax offset on my base rate of $27.00/hour. Most illustrations take 2–4 hours depending on complexity, putting your total in the $76–$152 range. If you provide a budget limit in your message and I’ll work within it.

I’ve been productive. The site got another face lift, too…

I’ve been feeling pretty defeated because I came to the painful realization that my art skills have plateaued over the last 5 to 6 years. I haven’t improved at all since 2018. The years keep slipping by me, and it was difficult to maintain a healthy drawing habit during COVID-19, moving 5 times and finishing college followed an endless string of shitty, soul-sucking administrative jobs.
I’m not sure what to do about my lack of improvement, but I’m finally in the right position to do something. I have steady employment, a steady living situation and a complete lack of emotional vampires in my life.
When it comes to art, and things that require some level of handcraftsmanship, the “only way out is through”. I have to practice consistently, I just have to draw some shit every single day. My problem is that, during the work week, I have a tendency to end the day on my couch. Sometimes I’m too lazy to be bothered with my art even though I should be working on one of my projects. If I were smart, I would use every free waking moment to draw and sketch.
