This is one of the last pieces of digital art I created before stepping away from it. At first, space was the biggest issue—I spent most of my twenties couch surfing, never owning a desktop, let alone a damn desk of my own. It wasn’t until I moved into my first apartment that I finally got the space I needed.
…But by then, astigmatism had kicked in after long hours at the computer wrecked my eyes. The strain would leave me feeling mildly disoriented at times. Maybe I’ll get back into digital art if screen technology improves, but for now, I’m good with traditional and mixed media instead.
