Mass of the Phoenix

The Priest prepares the Perfume, and the Cake of Light. He puts the flame to the Censer of incense, and makes the Keph-Ala-Kech magical gesture. He makes the holy Hexagram and the Cross with the magical weapon. He offers the Cake of Light (which was made yesterday) on the Fire of the Censer. He puts Mass of the Phoenix

Napalm Sunrise

Some doodles I did while watching “Apocalypse Now”. The song ‘The End’ by The Doors is probably one of my all-time favorites. If my life had a soundtrack, it would likely be somewhere in the middle. I love the slow, deliberate way Jim Morrison plays his guitar; it has a haunting quality, almost like a Napalm Sunrise

Kowloon Walled City

I’ve been wanting to incorporate urban and brutalist elements into my paintings, so I’ve been learning how to draw buildings and machinery. Kowloon Walled City is especially fascinating—the photos I’ve seen look like something straight out of (the original) Ghost in the Shell. Imagine how claustrophobic it must have felt in those alleyway corridors—probably humid, Kowloon Walled City
